TOURS 2 DAYS
Day 1 : LA PAZ - SURIKI
Departure from La Paz in the morning in private transport. We skirt the Real Mountain range before arriving to Huatajata (1h), a village located at the edge of the Lake Titicaca. Here we will be able to enjoy delicious trout, the gastronomic specialty of the lake shores. We will embark later on in one of the authentic and multicolored fishing boats that will carry us across the highest lake in the world. Our journey leads us to one of the islands located some hours from there : Suriki or Kalahuata, famous for their handcraft made of rushes (between 2h and 4h of sailing according to the whim of the wind...)
Cold lunch. Camping under the stars and under the protection of the Inca Gods...
Day 2 : SURIKI - LA PAZ
In the morning, a short walk on the island. Then, we cross the Lake before disembarking in Huatajata or Tiquina after 4 or 5 hours of sailing through the strait that unites the big and the small lake.
At dusk, return to La Paz in private transport.
