Uturuncu (6008m) in Quechua language means “puma”. This 6000 is certainly one of the easiest of the world because in general it is possible to ascend up to the 5700m on 4WD (depending on the snow conditions), therefore we only have the last 300 meters to go through on foot. Also, as this it is not a very snowy volcano, its ascent from the technical point of view is easy. Therefore it is an excellent summit for the acclimatization.
