Condoríri has recently become one of the places preferred by our visitors, located in the Eastern Andes of Bolivia, Cordillera Real is a group of mountains that are the passion of the climbers where we can find mixed peaks meaning they have ice and rock roughly 11 scalable peaks of the most beautiful one after another.

It is the ideal place to carry out a process of acclimatization, we can climb small peaks but that in turn are technicians, ideal place for trekking, we invite you to visit this site of dream that owes its name to the similarity with the Andean Condor.

Important Information
The walk is mainly uphill and you should be reasonably fit to take part in this activity. If weather conditions are unfavorable (the weather in Bolivia is unpredictable and can change from bright and sunny to full in a storm in a matter of minutes, especially during the rainy season) and depending on your speed, you may not be able to reach Pico Austria And stop at Paso Austria or even at Chiarkhota Lagoon – our guides are experienced enough to understand whether it will be possible to continue to peak or not, but can only decide the day and not beforehand. If they decide not to continue, it will be for their safety (either bad weather or bad weather with the sunset approaching).

English-Speaking Guide Option

If you wish to hire an English speaking guide there is an additional cost. An English speaking guide is not always available and in case we can not confirm it, we will obviously refund the extra cost you paid. The longer the notice you give us, the more likely we will be able to confirm the English speaking guide.

If you do not want to go on the hike unless you have an English speaking guide, you must inform us in the Additional Details section, otherwise, if it is not available, we will continue to confirm the tour with a Spanish speaking guide.

Group Sizes
The hike requires a minimum of 2 people to get out. If you are only one person and wish to book, you can make your reservation by selecting 2 in the box amount and we will try to find more people for the chosen date – if we can not find more people we can cancel this reservation and reimburse you, or we can still confirm the tour If you agree to pay double.

 Cancellation Policy
This walk can only be canceled with a week (7 days) or more.

It is not refundable after that. Please note that we can only process cancellations during office hours so please try to give us as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment (we recommend a week at least).

Day 1

La Paz – Rinconada – Laguna Chiar Khota (4670m)

Departure of La Paz in private mobility at 08:00 towards the corner, starting point of our trek. We will start our trekking to the first lagoon to continue slightly through a beautiful valley until we reach Laguna Chiar Khota (another 3 hrs of trekking). We will make our tour recreated to the front by “the Head of Condor” (5648m), which forms with its other two peaks the Condoriri massif. Night in Basic Refuge.
Day 2

Laguna Chiar Khota – Santa Fe – Maria Lloco (4800m)

We will leave the surroundings of the Condoriri crossing in our way several lagoons, formed by the thawing of the summits of the surroundings. We will appreciate an extensive lagoon on our descent until we reach the abandoned mine of Santa Fe, to continue our trek to our camp at the foot of the peaks Imilla Apachita, Maria Lloco and Huayna Potosi. Night in basic shelter.
Day 3

Maria Lloco – Refuge Huayna Potosi (4700m) – La Paz

In the morning we will start our tour of the Glacial Lagoon of Huayna Potosí, we will start by an old and dry channel located on the mountainside, which will serve as a viewpoint (2h30 round trip). Then we will continue our route towards Milluni (5000m), then we will border the Huayna Potosí massif until we reach the valley that will take us to our refuge. We return to La Paz by private vehicle. End of our services.
