This hike is designed for people who do not have much time to finish the transcordillera mountain range, we will make a trip through footsteps in the mountains where we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes, we will see different lagoons and an incredible view of the lake Titicaca.

Day 1

LA PAZ – LAGUNA KACHA

In 9 a.m. we leave La Paz, passing through the beautiful landscape of the Cordillera Real, near Lake Titicaca, and then through the locality of Achacachi, Warisata Imposition Where to see Illampu and Ancohuma. Then through the highlands of the Andes,
At the Kacha Lagoon Campground where we spent the first night very close to the Calzada glacier, 5,650m above sea level.
Day 2

KACHA LAGUNA – RIO CH’AJOLPAYA

In the morning, we prepare the equipment and start the trek of the day with a two hour climb to the Calzada pass, 4,900 m above sea level, very close to the mountains of Calzada and Kasiri. Then descends to the river Ch’ajolpaya, May where we see a great variety of wildlife, Andean birds and forests. Then we arrived at the camp in Ch’ajolpaya, where we camp for the second night.
Day 3

RIO CH’AJOLPAYA – Negruni

After breakfast, we continue the 3 hour hike to the Warawarani pass, 4,900 m above sea level, near the glaciers of these mountains, overlooking Chajowara, then down to the campsite near a lake at altitude 4100 M, where we rest for the third night.
Day 4

Negruni - Palca

An easy day of walking takes us further down the valley and beyond the small community of Palca. From the church, we will go up for an hour to reach the beginning of the next step for the next day. 4 – 5 hours.
Day 5

Palca – Jancokota

We have a climbing step early in the morning to reach the top of the step. When we turn around on the lake we have an incredible view of Nevada Chachumani (6000m). We continue on the other side of the pass to meet the road and camp just before the next step. 6 – 7 hours.
Day 6

Jancokota – Kotia – LA PAZ

After breakfast we drive to Mollo pass, 4,900 m above sea level, and from there we descend to the valley of Janq’u Quta, passing lakes and glaciers, and the mines and so on to the camp at Quta Thiya, altitude 4650 M, where transportation awaits us to return from Kotia to the city of Peace in the afternoon.

The beauty illimani dominates the landscape from anywhere in La Paz, as if it were a the guardian mountain of its history and achievements for the freedom of the continent achieved from here
