National Park Madidi / Jungle Tour

We will leave around 09:30am. From Rurrenabaque where we will travel by canoe with engine taking the Beni River, connecting to the Tuichi River for about three hours approximately. We will be able to see cut stones at the Incas epoch, the bat’s cave, where you will be able to take pictures, and see all the greatness of the entrance to the Madidi Park taking the Beni and Tuichi River.

We will arrive to our lodge around 13:00pm. Where the cook will prepare lunch for us, after lunch we will take a nap. The guide will explain us all about the routes that we will take in the afternoon, where we will be able to learn about medicinal, toxic and different kind of plants this trek will be for the Mapajo Trail.

The guide will also explain us about the trees that have water inside, seed that are useful to make handicrafts and more. We will hike for about three hours, and then we will go back to our lodge to have our tee, later on we will enjoy our dinner that the cook will make for us. Around 20:00pm. We will have an evening hiking, where we will listen to the nocturnal insects and others, afterwards we will go back to the lodge to take a rest.

We will have our breakfast around 07:30am. Afterwards we will have a special hiking for about three and a half hours where we will learn about each three, taking the Ambaybal Trail crossing the Mapajo Trail in a circular form heading to the Barreno Grande Trail for approximately 3 hours ½, and then we will go back to the lodge to have our Yummy Lunch.

We will take a nap, and then we will go hiking, around 15:00pm. We will take different trails. For approximately 3 hours. Or if you want the guide will teach us how to make handicrafts using different kind of seeds that are in the jungle. Then you can bring them as a souvenir from the Jungle. Later on we will have dinner made by our cook, afterwards the guide will explain us about the Madidi National Park, otherwise if you would like to we can have a different evening hiking.

We will have our yummy breakfast around 07:30 approximately And then we will have an exiting hiking where we will see the wide trees during the morning, we will measure the time to go back to the lodge to have lunch, and then we will take our nap.

Later on we will go by canoe with engine to see macaws, at our return we will travel by rustic canoes (rafting), called callapos, made of wood, that are brought by the river, we won’t need to cut the trees, that way we won’t harm the ecology. We will go back to our lodge in order to return to our lodge to finish the tour. We will go back to Rurrenabaque, arriving to the town around 17:00pm.
